3d motion fx

cameramantrans

30FPS

Objective: To simulate a motion 2.5/3D look using still images.
----------------------------------------------------------
In this experiment, I seperated the elements in Photoshop- Elements 5.0. Enhanced and changed colors. Saved each element as a .png 24 file with Interlace and transparency turned on. Imported each element onto its' own video track inside Sony Vegas' editor for compositing. Keyframed each track with zoom in, zoom out or motion scaling. Some tracks have FX also to make lens flare and blow aparts.

  4. This is extremly good technique and a good storyline. You seem to have the ability to bring complex programming into simple arrangements. Nice Work

  5. Which tool did you use to seperate the images?

  6. Given my current schedule and trial and error, I completed this over a period of 4 days. Now that I have a better understanding, I estimate that this could be done in 3-4 hours.

  7. Nice work. I've seen this technique used over and over on the History Channel. I'm surprised that you done this on a P.C. How long did it take?
